Dass das Thema "Wissenschaftliche Kommunikation" ganz enge Beziehungen zur Informationskompetenz hat, zeigt einmal mehr ein "white paper" mit dem Titel
\n"Intersections of Scholarly Communication and Information Literacy: Creating Strategic Collaborations for a Changing Academic Environment"<\/a> der amerikanischen Association of College & Research Libraries (ACRL). <\/p>\n

Schon fast klassisch gibt es ja enge \u00dcberschneidungen zwischen dem Bereich Wissenschaftliches Arbeiten und Informationskompetenz, hier ist besonders die Literaturverwaltung ein enges Bindesglied. Diskussionen um die Zukunft des Publizierens, zum Beispiel gerade in der Zeitschrift Nature publiziert<\/a>, die Aktualität von Themen wie Forschungsdaten<\/a>, Open Access<\/a> und alternativen Modellen<\/a> zum Ranking von Forschung<\/a> sowie die Bedeutung von Urheberrechts-Fragen<\/a> im elektronischen Alltag zeigen die inhaltliche Bedeutung des Themas dieses Berichtes.<\/p>\n

In dem Papier werden drei Wechselwirkungen zwischen wissenschaftlicher Kommunikation und Informationskompetenz besonders hervorgehoben:<\/p>\n

  1. "economics of the distribution of scholarship (including access to scholarship, the changing nature of scholarly publishing, the education of students to be knowledgeable content consumers and content creators)<\/li>\n
  2. digital literacies (including teaching new technologies and rights issues, and the emergence of

  3. our changing roles (including the imperative to contribute to the building of new infrastructures for scholarship, and deep involvement with creative approaches to teaching)" (S. 1)<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/blockquote>\n
